Summary
The aim of the research is to examine, to what extend full-waveform Airborne Laser Scanning (ALS) parameters may be used for point cloud’s classification in agriculture and forested regions. It evaluates the possibilities of creating a data base for the ALSP values, built after a number of test and analysis, in order to facilitate the access to direct ALSP-material/object information. The research investigates, if unification of ALSP-based classification is possible in terms of whole regions, countries and what kind of additional data sources should be available to achieve this aim. The outcome of the research will be the point cloud classification's algorithm. This approach will allow the users to build digital models from chosen material's/object's classes.
